So my
phone kinda broke last night because I was texting when it was raining really bad. I didn’t care at first because I did it before, and then the keys started doing weird things. I would push a ‘t’ and see a ‘tr’ on my screen, for example. Then, most buttons messed up and the trackball (which functions as a mouse and the ‘enter’ button) failed. I had to shut my phone off and lost sleep to make sure I’d wake up on time for work. I had to wake up at 5 but essentially pulled an all-nighter (my phone is my only alarm).
Work was difficult.
Then I came home and trained. New record for the # of reps (back squat) I can do with 255 and 225 lbs… on no sleep. Reminds me of Marty Gallagher sniffing an ammonia popper before a Master’s record he made - tired, sick and running on little sleep.
I also am rehab-ing my wrist. I banged it up doing 106 lb TGU work and now it hurts the bone (below the condyle) to hold a kettlebell against my forearm in the rack position. Did some knuckle work on the ground (sewing the thread, pushups) and KB cleans/presses.
